Setting Up and Using SurePayroll - USA Payroll

Learn to set up the SurePayroll and Kashoo payroll integration in three steps:

Sign up

To take advantage of special pricing that is available to you, sign up for SurePayroll through the Kashoo app. To do so:

Click on the Payroll page.

Click Sign Up for SurePayroll Now.

Confirm your quote (as pricing will change if there are more than 10 employees).

Integrating with Kashoo

From any screen, use the top navigation menu to go to Reports > Accounting Integration.

Click the Register button.

Select Kashoo from the dropdown and click the checkbox to accept the fee (if applicable). Then click the Save Changes button.

You will be notified that you're being redirected to an external website. Click OK.

You'll now be directed to login to Kashoo. After entering your Kashoo username and password, click on Login.

Next, you'll be prompted to allow access to your Kashoo business(es). Click Allow.

Click the Begin Setup Process button.

Import Accounts and Map Them to Payroll Categories

Now that you've completed the initial registration, you'll be prompted to import your chart of Account from Kashoo. Simply click the Import button and your accounts will automatically be imported.

Once the import is complete, you'll see a list of the accounts you just imported. Click the Assign Accounts to Payroll Categories link.

Now you need to map the imported accounts to payroll categories, starting with the Earning & Expenses accounts. Once you're done mapping them, click on Next.

Next, map the Deductions & Liabilities accounts and click on Next.

Then, map the Taxes & Expenses accounts and click on Next.

Once you've completed mapping the accounts, you'll see a screen confirming that.

Import Payroll Data into Kashoo

Once you have run a payroll, you can import the data into Kashoo.

To do so, use the top navigation menu to go to Reports > Export File.

Click Export to send your payroll data to Kashoo.

Once the export is complete, you'll be able to view the payroll data from within your Kashoo account.

How to View Imported Payroll Data

You can view all your imported payroll transactions from the Payroll page.

There you will see a list of all automatically and manually imported transactions in the Payroll Import History table.

If you click on the transaction, you can see the details of it.
