Kashoo has the ability to import a trial balance (which is the chart of accounts and opening balances), customers, and vendors. This data can be imported from any software that can provide a CSV or Excel spreadsheet of this data.
If you are moving from QuickBooks, we have a specific article on how to do so here.
Importing the trial balance will enter into Kashoo your accounting information for a certain point in time. Transaction level details, such as invoices or expenses will not be imported into Kashoo when you import your trial balance.
If you'd like to get transaction level details into Kashoo, you can do so by uploading your bank transactions using the bank reconciliation feature as seen in this article.
If you are setting up Kashoo for the first time, we have a whole series of articles around this in the Setup section of our support site.
You can import your contacts by following the instructions found here.
Please view our article Adding Multiple Users to Your Business.
Please view our article Recording money the company owners put into and take out of the business.
Please view our article Recording Reimbursable Expenses.
Please view our article Using the Automatic Bank Feed / Import.
Please view our article Performing a Bank Reconciliation.
Kashoo is double-entry accounting software, so as long as you can pull out financial data from those systems, they can easily be inputed into Kashoo.
